What is unlikely to qualify

Truthful criticism, honest customer experiences and unflattering opinions that follow the rules. Reddit does not generally decide whether a statement is true, so a post is not removed just because you say it is false. For genuine defamation questions you need a qualified attorney.

Old posts, threads and personal information

Older posts follow the same rules, but deleting an account does not delete the posts it made, and archived posts limit comments and votes. For private information, speed matters: we recommend collecting evidence at once. Other cases, such as whole threads or reputation work, are quoted after review.

What we will not do
